A summer camp is organized every year at G.I.M.R.C for mentally Challenged Children where singing, painting, dancing, craft, yoga and others activities which help in improving Child’s self help skills are performed. Competitions are also held for promoting their skills. The articles made by these children are exhibited for sale. A new feature has been added for last one year where students from normal schools are also involved in our summer camp so as to improve the social interaction.

Festivals like Diwali, Holi, Lohri are celebrated in the Institute with grate enthusiasm with active participation of Joint Director (GIMRC), all the faculty and other staff members.
